I’m sharing resources I’ve used along my journey as an autism parent. I know full well how it can feel to receive the diagnosis for your child and think “so now what?”. And then spend endless hours searching for support and answers online.
Here are some sites that are good to have in your library, whether you’ve been researching autism for years or are just beginning to ask questions. I’ll be adding to this list from time to time, so if you want to be kept in the loop, join my Facebook group, where I’ll be posting updates. Also, if there’s something you found valuable and would like to see added to this list, get in touch.
Specialist books for parents, a decent starting point
Advice from parents for parents
Legal and procedural advice and templates
Advice and guidance
Education and support for families
Supporting workplaces to provide meaningful work for neurodivergent employees

SNC is a support group for parents set up by parents, established in 2017 with over 13 years of experience in the SEND sector.
They offer Assessments, Intervention and Training for parents and education settings and have extensive experience working with autistic children.
I’m developing a series of conversations with fellow autism parents and professionals about everything from keeping your connection with your partner strong whilst supporting an autistic child, social and emotion management tips, supporting employees who have autistic children and everything in between.
